International Collaboration for Scientific Advancements: University of West Attica and Iuliu Hatieganu University Join Forces in EUREST-RISE MSCA Project

Athens, Greece, and Cluj-Napoca, Romania — In a landmark move, the University of West Attica in Athens, Greece, and Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, have formalized their commitment to collaborative research through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) within the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (MSCA-RISE) project named EUREST-RISE. The MOU establishes a solid foundation for cooperation, facilitating the exchange of staff and researchers between the two institutions. It also underscores their joint commitment to collaborate on research projects, including active participation within Work Packages 2 (WP2) and 4 (WP4) of EUREST-RISE. This collaboration is conducted in close partnership with the European Network for Smoking and Tobacco Prevention (ENSP), the coordinating entity of EUREST-RISE. As these two esteemed universities join forces, expectations run high for groundbreaking contributions to the EUREST-RISE MSCA project, setting the stage for impactful advancements in research and development within the defined work packages and in collaboration with the coordinating entity, ENSP.
