Pinelopi Varela in Brussels during her secondment from the University of West Attica to the European Network for Smoking and Tobacco Prevention.

Secondment 6.5 (Pinelopi Varela – UNIWA>>ENSP) Secondary analyses on EUREST-PLUS Horizon 2020 data. Within this secondment in the context of Task 2.2 of WP2, and in close collaboration with the Scientific Director of ENSP, Dr Charis Girvalaki, Pinelopi Varela performed an analysis and assessment of the recorded data related to smoking cessation services in 6 European Countries (Germany, Poland, Greece, Romania, Kazakhstan and Ukraine). Pinelopi triangulated data collected through the 2021 Eurobarometer, the WHO FCTC Reporting Database and secondary data from the H2020 EUREST-PLUS project. The final result of this secondment was the creation of six country-level fact sheets to be used in European advocacy activities.
